What is an Estate Plan?
Estate planning is a process by which you name the people or organizations you want to receive the things you own after you die, so that it is more likely for your wishes to be carried out after you pass.
But ideally, an estate plan should provide for much more, including for your care and financial affairs if you become incapacitated before you die, as well as guardians for your minor children's care and inheritance.
Estate Planning is important if any of the following apply to you:
